Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about local entertainment, performance, production, publicity and audience customs. Send proposals through the Contact page; a clear idea is more useful than a finished article sent without context.
What we welcome
Pitch an evergreen explanation, comparison, cultural history or reader-focused feature that reveals how an aspect of entertainment works. A strong proposal has a distinct subject, a clear reason it matters to general readers and a scope that can be handled without unsupported claims or specialist advice.
What to include
Use the Contact page to tell us the proposed angle, its main point and why it suits Local Showbiz Stories. Mention the kinds of material or examples the piece would rely on, and flag any uncertainty or access needs. Do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.
Our approach to pitches
We consider proposals for relevance, clarity and fit with the publication. A pitch is not a promise of acceptance or publication. If a proposal is not a match, we may not be able to take it forward; any agreed contribution would be discussed before work begins.
